If it is S4 system(eg M94a) then you will need to cold boot the system (C-Start) and reinstall the software.
There was either 1 or 2 boot disks (depending on revision) that contained the language files so during the cold boot when prompted choose the correct language and insert the correct boot disk.

Before starting the cold boot save all parameters, backup up all modules (system and program) and any modules loaded on RAM just in case your system is loading modules from RAM during operation. Unfortunately not many M94A system had a BACKUP function, that only started in later revsions and was not very stabl - Also park the robot in the cal position using the CAL1400 routine.

Make sure you have all the boot disks and make a copy of them all to a PC, this gives you a backup of the controller software and also proves they are all readable before the cold boot is started (old controllers have old boot disks that can be corrupt and it is not good to find the bad disk during the cold boot).

Hope this helps.
