my problem is i'm not abe to set the robot as master and slave at the same time
To setup IRC5 controller as Master/Slave operation you have to use feature called
INTERNAL SLAVE. In DeviceNet configuration you have to declare another unit of
DN_INTERNAL_SLAVE type. All signals configured within this unit will accessible from external DeviceNet Master (PLC or another robot controller). Your internal slave address can be found in
DeviceNet1 properties in
Bus tab of
Configuration - I/O. It's best to use RobotStudio to configure it.
You have to be careful with interconnecting your field bus to avoid any damage - DeviceNet should be supplied with 24V only from one side!
